English classes for adults are held on Mondays from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at 935 E. Walnut Street, Lancaster (Christ UMC). Use the back parking lot door. Look for signs.
FIRST SEMESTER
- September 22 - Registration and testing for the class level will take place, beginning at 6:30 pm
- September 29 - First Day of Class. Begins at 6:30 PM
- October 13 - Registration Closes. No new students after that date.
SECOND SEMESTER
- January 26 - New Student Registration & Evaluation
- February 2 - First Day of Class, Begins at 6:30 pm
- February 16 - Registration Closes. No new students after that date.
COST
- $20 for book (paid on 1st day of class). No other fees.
- Students starting in the 2nd Semester will pay $20 for books. (No charges for students who continue from 1st Semester.
Through this English as a Second Language (ESL) program, we seek to show the love of Christ
to our local community. We hope to welcome individuals learning English by offering a warm and
supportive environment where they can grow in their language skills and build meaningful
friendships that extend beyond the classroom. Communicating in English is so important for our
students, and we thank God for the opportunity to come alongside them.
